Privacy Policy

The short version

Information we collect

None. PicOne does not have an account system and does not send your data to us. We have no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no advertising. The developer of PicOne never receives your images, file names, credentials, or usage information.

Your images and uploads

When you upload an image, PicOne sends it directly from your Mac to the image host you configured (for example GitHub, Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, Aliyun OSS, Qiniu, Upyun, Imgur, SM.MS / S.EE, WebDAV, or a local folder). There is no relay server in between. The handling, storage, and public availability of an uploaded image is governed by that host’s own terms and privacy policy.

Credentials and secrets

Access tokens, secret keys, and passwords you enter for your image hosts are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device. They are used only to authenticate uploads to the host they belong to and are never sent anywhere else. They are not transmitted to the developer.

Data stored on your device

PicOne keeps your settings, upload history (with small thumbnails), and diagnostic logs locally on your Mac, inside the app’s sandbox container. This data stays on your device. You can clear history in the app, and you can move everything to another Mac using an exported .piconebackup file, which you may protect with a password (AES-GCM encryption). Backup files are created and read only by you; PicOne never uploads them.

Purchases

PicOne offers a 7-day free trial and a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited uploads, handled entirely through Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. Apple processes the transaction; PicOne does not receive or store your payment details. Purchase validation uses Apple-signed receipts on your device. Please see Apple’s Privacy Policy for how Apple handles App Store transactions.

Network connections

PicOne makes network connections only to (1) the image hosts you configure, in order to upload or delete your files, and (2) Apple, for App Store and in-app purchase functionality. It makes no other outbound connections.

Children’s privacy

PicOne is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
