Common questions

How do I upload an image?

Pick a file, upload an image or image URL from the clipboard, right-click an image in Finder, or drop a dragged file onto the floating shelf that appears in the top-right corner of the screen. The link is copied to your clipboard automatically.

Which image hosts are supported?

GitHub, AWS S3, Tencent COS, MinIO, Cloudflare R2, Aliyun OSS, Qiniu, Upyun, Imgur, SM.MS / S.EE, WebDAV, a local folder, or any custom HTTP endpoint you define. PicOne talks to each service directly, so there’s no relay server in between.

How does the free trial and purchase work?

PicOne includes a 7-day free trial. Unlimited uploads are a one-time purchase, no subscription, handled entirely through Apple’s App Store. If you’ve already bought PicOne, use “Restore Purchases” in the app’s settings to unlock it on a new Mac.

Where are my keys and tokens stored?

Access tokens, secret keys, and passwords are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device. They’re used only to authenticate uploads to the host they belong to and are never sent anywhere else. For more, see the Privacy Policy.

How do I move PicOne to a new Mac?

Export a .piconebackup file from the app, then import it on your new Mac. It carries your settings, keys, history, thumbnails, and activity logs, and can be protected with AES-GCM and a password you choose.

Something isn’t working. What should I send?

Email us with your macOS version, the image host you’re configuring, and a short description of what you expected versus what happened. A screenshot of any error message helps a lot.
